STRATEGIES FOR SUSTAINABLE AERIAL TRAINING (SILKS & ROPE EMPHASIS)

Williston_NickiMiller_012.jpg

This two-hour workshop breaks down tools for pleasurable, sustainable, and healthy aerial technique in physiologically complex vertical pathways and shapes. We will explore the translation of functional training to traditional aerial movements (inversions, back balance, hipkey, and weight shifts that don’t require holding on with hands. Combining over a decade of aerial experience with certifications in Functional Range Conditioning, Kinstretch, PRI Myokinematic Restoration and Postural Respiration,  Nicki Miller breaks down silks and rope technique into smaller progressions that allow for more freedom, discovery, and longevity in vertical aerial work. This is an advanced beginner/intermediate workshop for students with some aerial background.

Typical Workshops are 2 hours, timing can be shortened or lengthened to include or streamline different material.
